M10 GMC

The M10 was based on the chassis of the M4 Sherman tank, but with a lower profile and thinner armor to reduce weight and increase speed. It was also equipped with a more powerful engine to improve mobility.
The M10 first saw combat in North Africa in 1943, where it proved to be an effective tank destroyer against German armor. It went on to see action in Italy, France, and Germany, where it was used to support infantry units and provide anti-tank defense.
Although the M10 was eventually replaced by more advanced tank destroyers, it played an important role in the Allied victory in World War II. Its powerful gun and mobility made it a formidable opponent for German tanks, and its use helped to reduce the effectiveness of the German armored forces.
